Privacy Policy
Daily is a private, single-person application. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, public accounts, team accounts, or developer-operated cloud service.
Data stored on the device
Daily stores the profile, routine, activity history, journals, notes, income entries, settings, and health summaries in a local SQLite database on the device. A profile photo is processed locally. Daily does not send that photo to an external image-processing service.
Apple Health
With permission, Daily reads step and water totals from Apple Health and can write water entries that the person intentionally records. Apple Health values and Daily's health ledger stay on the device. They are excluded from Daily's iCloud synchronization and device-transfer bundles. Daily never uses health information for advertising, marketing, analytics, or data mining.
Optional private iCloud synchronization
iCloud synchronization is off by default. If the person explicitly enables it, Daily places non-health Daily records in the person's private Apple iCloud Documents container so their own Daily installations can synchronize. Daily does not operate or have access to a separate server for this data. Apple's iCloud terms and security controls apply.
Local transfer files
The person can explicitly create and import a sealed Daily transfer file. Transfer files contain non-health Daily records and are created only at the person's request. The person controls where those files are copied or stored.
Deletion
The App & Privacy screen can erase all Daily data on the current device and can also erase Daily's private iCloud sync folder. Apple Health records remain managed through Apple's Health app.
